Rouge Asteroid Defender
Controls are left arrow, up arrow, right arrow and Z or X.
Enter key pushes you to the menu which automatically pauses the game.
This is a concept for a large scale game with shootable objects with a small view area and a low visibility element due to scale limitations for the screen. I made it so there is a screen sized minimap overlaying the action that is occuring on screen to make it easier to decide what to do based on your current trajectory.
I made it for the UW Stout 2024 Fall GameJam and wanted to test out some new concepts and limit myself to a lighter engine. You will potentially overload the system with bullets and have to lay off of the trigger for a second or 2 to wait for the game to stop lagging once during a playthrough. Regardless, I am curious what you think.
